Blue Mountains Fares

Travelling on Blue Mountains Transit services works the same way as everywhere else in Sydney: you'll need an Opal card.

Opal is accepted right along the mountains corridor, from Glenbrook through to Katoomba and beyond, as well as on connecting trains to the city.

Drivers no longer sell single-trip paper tickets.

School Passes

Local students with a School Opal card can travel free or at a reduced fare on Blue Mountains Transit routes.
