ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC) is proud to be the largest bus company in Australia to bring in Mobileye's aftermarket system. This vision-based technology gives drivers an "extra eye" on the road, warning them of possible accidents and helping them react faster.

Mobileye uses a small high-definition camera on the windscreen that keeps watch on the road ahead, sending information to a small screen on the dashboard. As well as visual alerts, it sounds a warning to help drivers avoid or reduce the impact of a collision. It watches four things: safe following distance, forward collisions, lane changes without signalling, and pedestrians or cyclists nearby.

Over time, Mobileye helps drivers build better habits and stay more focused. Warning drivers of hazards before they happen leads to safer driving, which protects drivers, passengers, pedestrians and cyclists alike.

Mobileye is being rolled out in Victoria and NSW at the same time.
