Ticketing and Fares

Across the CDC network, including Hillsbus, fares are paid using Opal.

Opal cards and Opal-enabled contactless cards work the same way on every bus, train and ferry across the Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Hunter and Illawarra network areas.

We no longer sell single-trip tickets on board.

School Passes

School students holding a subsidised School Opal card can travel on all CDC and Hillsbus services covered by their pass.
